By accessing and using photonsec.com.au ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service. PhotonSec ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Use License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use PhotonSec for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Reproduce, duplicate, or copy content for commercial purposes without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted areas of the website
- Probe, scan, or test the website's security without explicit authorization
- Use automated tools or scripts to access the Service (except search engine crawlers)

3. Member Accounts

To access member-exclusive content, you must create an account with your email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

All content on PhotonSec (articles, guides, code samples, graphics, logos) is the exclusive property of PhotonSec or its content providers. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited.
4.2 User Content
By submitting content to PhotonSec (comments, bug reports, feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute such content. You represent that you own or have the right to grant these rights.
4.3 Third-Party Content
PhotonSec displays content from third parties, including public repositories from GitHub and other sources. We do not control, endorse, or verify such content. Responsibility for third-party content remains with its original authors.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We disclaim all warranties, including:

7. Security Research and Responsible Disclosure
7.1 Authorized Security Testing
While we prohibit unauthorized security testing, we encourage responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities. If you discover a vulnerability:
- Contact us immediately at contact@photonsec.com.au with full details
- Do not disclose the vulnerability publicly until we have time to fix it
- Provide us reasonable time to investigate and remediate (minimum 30 days)
- Do not access systems or data beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the vulnerability
7.2 No Bounty Program
PhotonSec does not currently offer a bug bounty program. However, we recognize and appreciate responsible researchers who help us improve our security. We will acknowledge your contribution if appropriate and requested.
7.3 Legal Safe Harbor
Individuals who comply with this Responsible Disclosure policy will not be sued or prosecuted for conducting security research in accordance with these terms.

PhotonSec contains links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Your use of external sites is subject to their terms and policies. We recommend reviewing third-party terms before engaging with their services.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PhotonSec, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service in violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
- Your infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
- Any harm or illegal activity you commit through the Service

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PhotonSec regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, and agreements.
